New Membership Platform
IUG is in the process of migrating to a new, more robust and cost-effective membership management system. There’s no need for members to take any action at this time, and we will share more information as we prepare to go live with the new system. In the meantime, you can still check your membership status and renew under the existing system.

Web Forum Updates
The web forum has had a recent update - you may have noticed improved speed, a new look to the sidebar, and the ability to post photos in a grid. While you’re there, don’t forget to take a look at the new items posted in the Sierra and Polaris clearinghouses. Have a position open at your institution? We have a section for that. Have a question, but prefer to ask anonymously? No problem!

Idea Exchange
IUG is developing a user voting process to prioritize enhancements submitted through Idea Exchange. Along with this, we have been working with III management on an agreement to ensure that selected ideas are implemented in a timely manner.

IUG/Innovative Communication
The IUG Steering Committee remains in communication with Innovative regarding issues that have been reported with LX Starter implementations and for members who are having trouble reaching their sales representative. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you are in need of help.

Is the Monthly Zoom forum for September covering circulation or cataloging? The heading for each ILS says circulation but the description says “discuss cataloging.” Just want to make sure I pass along to the right staff.

Thanks for the catch, Alison! It is circulation; we’ll get the descriptions corrected.
