In 2021, Innovative and ExLibris/ProQuest announced new functionality to link Sierra patron empowerment features directly to the Summon discovery tool, allowing Sierra patrons to view their checkouts, place holds, and see fines and fees, from within the Summon user interface. Several existing III / Summon customers participated in this development over the past 12+ months, working with Summon product development on the integration with the new Summon UX.
