Program Description: Each summer, Jackson Library at Indiana Wesleyan University inventories the entire circulating collection using the Sierra inventory process. We target specific areas for weeding. In the past, weeding and subsequently withdrawing the items has proven to be a slow process. However, with the enhancement that allows us to import records into Sierra by barcode into a create list, we were able to develop a strategy that includes reports on targeted items to withdraw to withdrawing them from Sierra and OCLC.
