Program Description: In Minuteman we have begun geocoding our patron records, enabling us to match up our patron data with demographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau. This enables us to explore our communities in a wealth of new ways that also assists with maintaining patron privacy by anonymizing data. And it only requires 2 Python Scripts, 2 APIs, SQL, Looker Studio, and a ton of trial and error. Come and learn from our experiences and see how all these technologies can work together to form a single project.
