When it came to digitally marketing their library, Syosset Public Library was looking for a way to shake the outdated, “Shhhhh!” dusty books-only image and spread the word about the variety of services offered. Step 1: Replace the text-only circulation notices with modern, colorful notices. Step 2: Leverage their APIs to help support and drive impactful marketing programs. Presenters will review the library’s goals, the methods and technologies used to achieve those goals, and the progress made in implementing library card renewal reminders, circulation notices, welcome emails, and various marketing messages.
