In 2017 the Minuteman Library Network began the process of redeveloping our website, and quickly discovered the most heavily used component of it were our static booklists. Due to this, we wished to place our booklists front and center on our new site, which also created greater urgency for keeping their content fresh. In order to keep the workload managable we turned to SQL to automate this work and have utilized it for a wide variety of lists. This presentation will go over our experiences with this approach for item curation and will provide samples of SQL queries used.
