J04 Polaris Reporting for Staff Accountability

When you have 81 locations, keeping tabs on staff activities can be a real challenge—at least without some help from the ILS. In this session, we’ll present work Chicago Public Library has been doing to create reports that help managers quickly and easily tell whether a location has been doing key daily, weekly, and monthly tasks:

  • searching for all items on their picklist
  • checking in new material in a timely manner
  • searching for missing, claimed, and “lost in transit” material

We’ll also share management and staff reactions to these new reports.
