Inventing an Inventory Process: How One Academic Library Used the Innovative Inventory Module to Conduct its First-Ever Inventory

Is your library planning to inventory its physical collection? Are you setting up Innovative’s Inventory module for the first time? Attend this session and learn about the experiences of a mid-size academic library as it undertook its first-ever inventory in its fifty+ year existence. The presenters will discuss setting up and using the inventory module for Sierra/Millennium, including configuring an FTP server to ingest barcodes into the module, as well as the workflow they developed for scanning barcodes, generating inventory reports, and following up on missing items.
