When it comes to cyber security, you are the last line of defense – and you are also the weakest link. As stewards of patron information, library staff has a responsibility to know the risks and how to mitigate them. You’ll leave armed with some simple procedures, precautions, and habits that you can employ at work and home that will protect you and your patrons’ data. While aimed at non-IT public library staff using Polaris, this will appeal to anyone who has ever thought, “but I have nothing worth stealing.”
