Forum feature: Edit time window before emails are sent

Email delay window

Don’t you hate it when you don’t notice a typo until AFTER you’ve hit the send/save button? :person_facepalming:

Fortunately, if you use the web editor on the forums, you get a 5-minute grace period before emails :email: are sent. Just make your edits within 5-minutes and no one will even know you used affect when you should have used effect :rofl: .

*Note: If someone is active on the forum or has enabled desktop push notifications, those are sent immediately.

Inline editing

To make fixing those typos even faster, the forum supports inline editing.

  1. Highlight the phrase or word in your post that you need to edit.
  2. A pop-up will appear

  3. Select the Edit option
  4. A mini editor window will pop-up

  5. Make your changes
  6. Click the Save Edit button
  7. There might be a slight delay before the content on the page is updated
