Thanks for this tip @wesochuck, but is it possible to make small corrections to older posts? I was just reviewing some SQL I posted and noticed a couple of non-fatal issues in the code which would benefit from a correction. I don’t see any buttons which would allow me to make edits.
At the bottom of posts you created, you should see an edit icon (it might be under the ellipsis / kebab menu):
If it is a post from someone else, private message me the post links and I can see if they would be good candidates to convert into Wiki articles which would allow anyone to edit them.
Thanks to @bgaydos for helping sorting out a configuration option for editing posts, you can now edit your posts regardless of how “old” they are. If you are having issues make sure you log off and back onto the system.
If you still don’t see the option, it may be because you are a new user. If you need to edit a previous post and you are a new user, please message @steering-committee and request to have your Trust Level increased in the forum.
