Data Gone Bad---Finding Inaccurate Data and Cleaning It Up Before It Becomes a Problem

Data errors happen and may often go unnoticed until they cause a problem. This presentation will cover the many data reports we run to find bad data and correct it as soon as possible. Most of our reports either look for item or patron data errors. Some of the errors are pushed to staff so that they can fix the data, while other errors are worked on by the ILS team. Examples of the multiple reports we have will be covered. This topic should be of interest to all audiences.
