Zebra Printers for Spine Labels

Hello,

We are migrating to Polaris (using Leap) and are working on spine labels and printers. Is anyone using Zebra printers either with or without Leap’s spine label functionality that would be willing to answer some questions? The spine label functionality is not as robust as my libraries are used to, so if there is a more flexible option with the Zebra printers they are already using, I would like to present it to them.

Hi Amanda, not sure if this is helpful to you, but we use Sierra with Zebra printers for spine labels. I’ll say that the label configurations within in Sierra are nominal, but the most control I have for formatting is within the system printer properties/advanced settings. It wasn’t the easiest to sense make, but after a lot of trial and error I’ve achieved good enough labels! Cheers, Sam
