Currently, when you create a SimplyReports report and select a LIBRARY and save the report, the output is locked to the branches that existed for the library at that time. You are NOT creating a library level report, you are ALWAYS creating a branch level report. If you add new branches later, their data won’t automatically appear in your saved reports, which could lead to confusion or lost data.
This idea suggests adding an option to create true LIBRARY level reports for Simply Reports. It also proposes that saved reports remain at the library level so that they won’t have to be republished to the toolbar if a new branch is added.
