I am looking for any suggestions in terms of a third-party vendor/processor for e-commerce/credit card payments. I have the current list of vendors that Polaris will work with, but want to get feedback regarding any vendor that other libraries may be using other than Envisonware. Basically our county Finance department is not in agreement with the way the current processor provides our payment, as the vendor wants to have debit authority over our bank account to remove their fees. Many processors that our county Finance department has contacted will not work with us because they require debit authorization. County Finance will not allow that, wanting the vendor to take their fees out before they credit our bank account. We are looking for possible options with other vendors and welcome any suggestions, or if other libraries have had a similar situation, how it was resolved. Thanks.
