TCP/IP Connection to OCLC

Hi Everyone,

We are really interested in the capabilities of the TCP/IP functionality that allows MARC records to be pushed from OCLC to Polaris. This is coming with our v. 8.0 upgrade. We are trying to test it in training, but are having trouble with setting it up. Has anyone successfully set up the TCP/IP connection to OCLC that’s available with v. 8.0 yet?

Looks like there are some specific firewall port requirements (9090). I would start by using an online tool like: https://portchecker.co/ (you can use hostname or IP in this tool) to make sure those ports are open on the server where the service is running.
