Sierra and Vega communication

I have a title that appears in the Vega search as “in process”. I would like to go into Sierra to withdraw it, but it does not pop up in my Sierra search. We have tried title search, call number search, word search.

Any advice out there?

If you click on the icons under details in the editions table, you should be able to find the Bib ID & Item ID and Barcode.


You have to scroll to the bottom of the details for the Bib ID.

Both Item ID and barcode appear for the item:

You will need to add the ‘b’ or ‘i’ at the beginning and an ‘a’ at the end for the check digit but then you can search in Sierra by record number. If you still can’t locate the record in Sierra, you may have a synch issue where something removed from Sierra is still indexed in Vega for some reason.
