Are scopes and scope rule numbers two separate things?
I can see our scope names in the Maintain Scope Menu option in Putty but I don’t think I’ve seen any listing of scope rules anywhere. Is that something that only Innovative staff can see?
We have the consortial Sierra version, in case that has any influence.
Hey Ann,
I am by no means an expert in scopes, we have them, but they were setup before I started my role and I have made limited changes to ours.
Our scopes are strictly location-based. This means I can see which locations make up the rules in Admin Corner (Putty) . And more recently (as of Sierra 6.2) I can change the rules myself in SDA.
There are also BCODE scopes and only Innovative can see and change those, so I would recommend asking them to tell you what rules you have in place before you go about changing anything.
The interface in Admin Corner to see the location rules is a bit weird. You need to key a number to choose the Scope. From there is should show up with an X by that scope. If you wish to see the locations then type D for display and even then it will prompt you for which one to display then select the number beside the X. Then you should be able to navigate through the locations.
