Although our Sierra system runs well day to day, looking closely at usage trends helped us determine what areas needed extra attention and where we could improve customer service (new circulation notices!). For our mature system, examining the major tables that run Sierra’s circulation system—branches, item types, patron types, notice texts—was particularly important as our Library use has changed over the years. This program will share strategies for examining and streamlining system tables, and implementing circulation notices using print templates.
