If you are having issues with certain character encodings in titles or patron names in Polaris SIP, please note that you can install the SIP server software to support UTF-8 encoding instead of the default ASCII.
Please note this could break the integration with some services, and the setting is set per server instance, so you may find that you have to have both an ACSII and UTF-8 instances for maximum compatibility.
