Program Description
Chicago Public Library sends out thousands of email notices per day, and staff wondered how patrons would respond to using these notices to promote the library’s collections and events. Paul Keith, technology librarian at Chicago Public Library, will describe ongoing experiments with adding “similar titles” to hold request pickup notices and upcoming event listings to almost overdue notices, including success measures and data collected to date.
