Polaris - Envisionware Connection

Hello everyone,
Does anyone have an existing SIP connection established between their Polaris system and Envisionware? We are attempting to test our connection with Envisionware before go-live and running into difficulties. Essentially, Envisionware is the only vendor that we are unable to establish a SIP connection with. We know the credentials are valid because they work with every other connection. The Envisionware logs are very, very sparse and not overly helpful.
Naturally Innovative is saying it is an Envisionware issue and Envisionware says it is a Polaris issue.
Any words of wisdom from anyone?
Thanks,
Aaron

yes, Envisionware can use Polaris SIP as its “validation authority” using “connection type = socket” choose a port number that the server is listening on corresponding to the OrganizationID, Location code and institution ID may both need to be set to “AUTHENTICATE”. Examine your SIP server logs to see the conversation between them. Hope this helps a bit

For what it’s worth, when Envisionware suddenly stopped authenticating our patrons’ PIN numbers, Erickson Mendoza (Technical Support Analyst at Innovative) was able to fix it. He sounded like he had experience troubleshooting various Polaris\Envisionware SIP issues.

Thank you both! We will try to set-up with what you suggested, Shawn.

Anna, I mentioned to our implementation consultant that Erickson assisted you and she is reaching out as well so thanks for that tip!

Hi Shawn,
In the validating Authorities, we have the options below. No “Polaris SIP”. Do you see a Polaris SIP in your dropdown? Maybe something we don’t have/need to get?

Hi @athomas, you will want to use “GIS - Polaris”.
