Phone notice reporting

Hi all,

Previously we used i-tiva for our outgoing phone notices and incoming phone renewals and they would send me daily/monthly reports. We are not going with Innovative for that. To say their SMS reporting profile is poor would be an understatement. I can only see outgoing and can only limit the range by “Last 3 hours, Today or Last 30 days”. Is there another way to get a date range of outgoing calls and texts and incoming calls/renewals?

Was maybe there a typo here? Did you mean to say you’re now using Innovative for SMS?

I’m not too familiar with their product, but maybe @derekbrownrhpl knows someone who could speak to the CirrusImpact (?) reporting capabilities.

Polaris itself stores information on the counts of OUTBOUND notices delivered and their type. I don’t know if there are any built-in canned reports, but you can get hints of the tables involved by looking at this post.

Hi @wesochuck. Yes that was definitely a typo. We are “now” going with Innovative for the notices. I have been looking at the idea exchange and people are posting pics of reporting that looks totally unfamiliar to me but they are older posts. Did Innovative only more recently switch to using CirrusImpact? We’re still in Basecamp for just the phone/txt notices portion of our migration so I’ve asked about the reporting there as well but will also add comments to Idea Exchange and look at the tables you mention and also wait to see if @derekbrownrhpl responds. In library terms, I think it has been pretty recent, within the last 24 months maybe?

It’s not granular in it’s details, but has worked for us to at least get a rough idea. We did request that all of this data would be extracted out in Vega Reports. Just waiting on an update to when that will actually launch.

Thanks @derekbrownrhpl. Yep that’s what I mean. The problem is that our board needs to know the outgoing calls/notices and incoming calls/renewals for each month so I really need to be able to input a date range. It would be hit or miss if I happen to be at work on the 1st of every month and could select the last 30 days which still wouldn’t be a month all the time and also these reports don’t include the incoming calls. Maybe reporting will improve. I don’t believe we have access to Vega Reports.
