Hey everyone. I’m going to post this in a couple of places, but for those that were at IUG and attended the session regarding the potential of starting an Overdrive Users Group, I am the one that offered to set up a Discord server. I have done that so that we can start discussions. It is very bare-bones and I will add things as we need them, but seeing as the group has not been actually created yet, needs are still a bit undefined. If anything looks weird or isn’t working right, let me know. I only run one other Discord server, which is for my various D&D groups, so it is pretty simple. Here is the invite link, please feel free to share. Come join the conversation and help mold what this will look like going forward.

I am interested in the Overdrive Users Group, but not comfortable using Discord with my work account. Are there any other options or plans?
In line with this concern, our access to Discord is blocked for “security reasons”. Our attempts to obtain a policy and network waiver have not been successful. 
I wish I had an answer for you both. This idea is still in its infancy and a Discord was a quick and easy way to begin the conversation. If/When we expand beyond that I will make sure to get that information around as best I can, including posting here.
