Online Payment with TBS

Apologies for cross posting (also posted on Discord), but we are pretty desperate for some ideas…

Calling all TBS customers…

We have been working with them for over 6 months to get setup for online payment using API connection. We are initially going to be linking out from Vega for online payment, then testing the TBS print time mgmt product. TBS can connect to Polaris. They can see the fine, bit they cannot get their system to prompt for fine payment. Most recent try at a fix was reinstalling the DB most recently, but that didn’t help. Anyone else have issues getting online payment setup with TBS?

We have TBS online payment currently. It generally works well but lately we’ve been having an issue where it doesn’t actually clear the fine in Polaris. I’ve had a ticket open with them for… a while and they seemed stumped on how to fix it. One of the reasons that prompted us to switch is that Envisionware’s solution wasn’t PCI-compliant, which our Finance department required. I kind of memory-holed the set up process because it took us a while (for a variety of reasons) but I can try to answer questions! You can email me if it’s easier: lauren.arnsman@troymi.gov. I should add that we do not have Vega (…yet) so I can’t speak to getting that piece set up.
