No Rapido-driven changes/additions to the Sierra database structure in version 6.4

Cross-posted from the Sierra listserv; Discord users are on their own

This is directed primarily, initially toward Ohio libraries running Sierra.  In the Q&A portion of the Resource Sharing Landscape session at IUG last week, I had inquired as to any new tables or columns added to the Sierra Postgres database to support Rapido, as this would mean adjustments to many of my SQL queries.  The short answer and good news is that there are none in Sierra 6.4! ✨  See Mike Dicus’ response below:

Hi Bob,

I checked with Hope, who led the development effort to support Radipo Consortial Borrowing with Sierra.

We are re-using the existing INN-Reach infrastructure to support Rapido integration with Sierra, so the tables and columns are the same as those used for INN-Reach data. Your existing SierraDNA queries will continue to work as SearchOhio transitions to Rapido Consortial Borrowing.

Let us know if there is anything else you need.

Best regards,

Mike Dicus
