Spine Label Printing Troubleshooting
Members have reported printing inconsistencies when Spine Label Printing between the Staff Client and Leap. The cause for this issue has to do with the Staff Client and Leap using different printing methods with different consideration for margins. Starting in 7.7, there is now a secondary set of SLB label types for libraries to use when transitioning from using the Staff Client to using Leap.

Polaris SA Now Activated by Default with Upgrades to 7.7+
Innovative is now activating the web-based Polaris SA by default with current and future 7.7 update. If you were an early adopter of 7.7 and were not already using Web SA, you will need to reach out to your site manager to have it installed for your location.

As mentioned in previous newsletters, as of 7.7 the web-based Polaris Administration supports basic authentication, and adds more functionality related to managing organizations and configuring patron services. Prior to 7.7, the web-based Polaris Administration required an SSO login solution, but with 7.7, libraries can now use their Polaris credentials to login.

IUG 2025 Denver - Schedule is Now Published
The schedule is now posted to Sched for IUG 2025 being held in Denver, CO from March 12-15. There are lots of sessions covering all areas of Polaris, discussion forums, and product updates.
