Hello all. We’re a Sierra user and OCLC record users. I’ve noticed recently when attempting to download name authority records from Worldshare that some don’t actually download. I run a headings report at least weekly to delete blind references and duplicate entries. That said, I’m wondering if there is a maximum # of authority files Sierra can handle? I’ve checked Sierra docs, but didn’t see anything about this, specifically. Thanks in advance.
Hello @AnnieW. Yes, you can see your record capacities in Admin Corner. Apparently there are menu variations between different Innovative customers, but see the attached image below for the menu path to our record capacities. Note that Support can increase these limits as you approach them; we’ve had to do that at least once for Invoices.
