In January of 2017, BGSU University Libraries went live with Sierra in the hosted Innovative AWS cloud. The process of migrating from our aging turnkey servers had many twists and turns along the way. I will review the various campus and Innovative partners that were involved with the process and how the puzzle pieces caused delays and ended up fitting together for our hosted migration project. Security requirements from our central IT resulted in a switch from LDAP to Single Sign-On for user authentication. This caused unexpected user experience changes, including INN-Reach requesting and HTTPS, which I will pass along for others.
