Joliet Public Library is looking for a full-time and experienced Librarian Cataloger, who is creative, dependable, detail-oriented, enjoys teamwork, flexible, focused, forward thinking, highly motivated, and must have a great sense of humor.
Joliet, the third largest city in Illinois, is home to a culturally diverse population of 150,362 residents. Joliet Public Library has 2 branches to serve our growing community. We just completed a $10.5M renovation of our Ottawa Street facility, where the Technical Services Department is situated. Qualifications:
MLIS is required with recent cataloging experiences. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
Graduating MLIS students with relevant experiences are highly encouraged to apply. All coursework for the degree must be completed by the end of May 2023.
