In the fall of 2018, the University Libraries at the University of Memphis migrated their digital repository from Vital 7.0 to 8.1. This presentation will detail the migration and review the benefits of upgrading including how the 8.1 interface is more user friendly for both administrators and library users. In addition, the presentation will provide recommendations for further improvements that can be made to the Vital Digital Asset Management Solution.
