Hello Acquisitions API, Goodbye FTP
The acquisitions API, a.k.a. GobiAPI, has streamlined the ordering workflow so much at Santa Clara University that the staff cannot even recall the term FTP two months following the API implementation. This presentation will show both the FTP and API workflows from submitting firm orders in GOBI to generating bibliographic and order records in Sierra. Steps taken to successfully transition and customize fields and load profile in both GOBI and Sierra will also be shared.
