This script emails an alert when job steps in SQL Server fail. I’ve found it useful for keeping an eye on Polaris overnight jobs failing which may impact functionality that day, problems that have come up with our own jobs, or even re-occurring issues that need to be addressed.
Note: you’ll need to set-up Database Mail to email the alert, though you could also configure this from SSRS.
