Collection Titles and Volumes/Copies report

Any Canadian libraries using Polaris/Leap: I’m trying to figure out how best to run a report that lists how many titles and volumes/copies for each collection in our system. This is for the annual survey of public libraries that we report on each year under the System Holdings section.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Have you set up your collection codes/item stat codes/material type codes to mirror the required reporting categories? If so, which code are you using? If not, you’ll need something else to do the grouping for you, how you approach that would depend on what type of SQL access you had.
