In the fall of 2017 the MORE consortium voted to change whose loan rules were used when library materials are checked out. Leaving behind the 18 years of owning library rules we started the process of changing to lending library rules. It’s a long, time-consuming process, and we’ll go over the reasons for the change, how the item types had to be modified, the changes to the loan rule determiner table and the loan rule clean-up we did on the way. We may not be done by IUG but we will be far into the process.
