Bluetooth Scanners with iPad

Can anyone recommend a Bluetooth scanner to use with iPads? We need it to be programmable to scan drivers licenses into Leap. We were using the Datalogic RIDA scanners and they worked great but when we tried to order more we were told they are no longer making them. We had used a Socket one previously and were not happy with it, but that was a long time ago and I know they have a lot of new models now.

I haven’t put it through it’s paces as a dedicated iPad barcode reader (I did just test to make sure it would work with an iPad, though I could think of no reason why it wouldn’t), but I’m fond of the Netum C750. They’re not too expensive, connect via Bluetooth, and support 2D barcode symbologies (including PDF417 for your State IDs). I’ve mostly used in buffer mode for inventory purposes (worked great for that, btw) and as my own, in-office barcode reader. They’re not super rugged, but I’ve never been too worried about that since we work in libraries, not warehouses :wink: Here are a couple of links:
