A New Era For Library Marketing: How Sierra Helps It Happen
The Delaware County District Library and the Ferguson Library have partnered with Third Chapter Partners to create and execute a marketing plan that moves past the printed newsletter to sophisticated techniques like emails with content customized to the patron’s subject, format, and program preferences. None of this would be possible without taking advantage of several Sierra tools like profiled data exports, patron self registration, Create Lists, and more. This presentation will review these libraries’ ambitious views on marketing and how they are using Sierra and Third Chapter’s tools to move their marketing efforts into the modern age.
